Feature: UCD and Siemens develop a robot boat
Thursday, June 4th, 2009In the week of a new Terminator film being launched, Villa81 got a look at a boat that could be a pre-cursor to a real life Skynet. The Siemens Autonomous Sailboat is thankfully being designed for purposes much more beneficial than the destruction of humanity.
UCD and Siemens hope to hold the first test of the full sized boat next week and have the boat operating on a fully autonomous basis by the end of the summer.
