Villa81 visited London’s Groucho Club to see four of Sony Ericsson’s new phones in action. We took a look at the X10, X10 Mini, X10 Mini Pro, and the Vivaz Pro.
All of these devices are due out in the first and second quarters of 2010.

The Palm Pre promises plenty but does the smart-phone live up to expectations? I tested out the device to see well it fared.

The second phone in INQ family has hit the streets and I brought it around the country to see how the device fared.
Verdict: 6 out of 10. It’s good but by no means great.
The INQ Mini 3G is available on the 3 network from €99 for pre-pay customers and free for bill-pay users.

Samsung recently launched its new Pearl White phone. In Ireland the phone is being branded as the Cara White and is available on the 3 network.
Verdict: 5 out of 10, once you get past the aesthetics it’s a run of the mill device.

Villa81 dropped down to the Piano Bar in Dublin for the launch of the Samsung Pearl White. The phone, which is being branded as the Cara White in Ireland, is available exclusively on 3 and is clearly aimed at the female market.

LG has launched its new touch screen model. I tested a pink version of the Cookie, or KP500 as its also known
Verdict: 4/10. The bells and whistles are nice but it fails in some fundamental areas.
The LG Cookie is available now from €129 on the Meteor, O2, and Carphone Warehouse networks.

We’ve been testing the LG Renoir KC910 over the last few weeks, giving the phone with a fancy camera full going over.
Verdict: 7/10. Not the best phone we’ve seen but pretty impressive all the same.

We gave the Blackberry Curve 8900 a rigorous test over the past month. This included examination of its overall interface, camera, and other applications.
Verdict: 8/10. It’s elite and well worth it.
